As we annotate, we will connect what our purpose of writing is to why an author writes by looking at Author's Purpose.

ELAR Week: August 14 - 16, 2019
This week in ELAR we read, "I Am a Wonder". Students learned to celebrate each other's differences while also thinking and writing about what made them a WONDER!
We also read, "Malala's Magic Pencil". Students had the opportunity to hear how one small idea can turn into something that can change the world. Students once again put their writing abilities to work as they wrote about how they would change the world!
