Week 8: September 28 - October 2
Reading Workshop:
This week we will continue with getting more understanding of our Standards: Author's Craft, Author's Purpose, and Text Evidence. We will also begin to work with the basic understanding of Plot, beginning with the Beginning, Middle, and End of a story.
Texts: "Mr. Peabody's Apples" and "Wilma Unlimited"
Assessment #3: Author's Purpose with Text Evidence (60%)
Writing Workshop:
Students will look back at all their prewriting strategies and choose the one moment they want to write about. They will also build their stories around the purpose of the story as well as incorporate crafts they want to use as writers.
