Reading Workshop:
Students will begin revisiting the different types of genre within Fiction and Nonfiction as we wind down the year, and prepare for STAAR. We will continue to reflect and write about text evidence, inference, context clues, and many of the concepts we have learned throughout the year, and continue to grow in. 



Writing Workshop: 
This week we will begin our last Performance Task learning about "Argumentative Writing". This Performance Task will also serve as our End of the Year piece, assessing where we are, as 4th grade writers. 




Word Work: 
Students will continue to work with Figurative Language concepts this week through their digital activity, as well as the Greek and Latin Root ~ therm
